This year is the year that should not have been–sickness threatened my future, and I said, "not yet".
This year is special, because I had the opportunity to be behind the lens of so many moments I never dreamed I'd actually see. When life tells you to hang it up, say "not yet".
Here's a reel of work from this past year.
Music: Luca Fogale - "I Don't Wanna Lose You"
Agency: Barefoot Proximity
Subject: Justin Skaggs
Commissioned: Generations Church
Role: Director / Editor
Steven Howell - Production + Casting
Wrote and recorded this song, then put my camera in the trusty hands of Mason Wilkes to film it in a couple hours under NYC. Gonna do some more music this year, and make more things just for fun with friends I love.
Role: Talent / Editor
Directed by: Mason Wilkes
Assisted by: Nick Bui, Scott Richard

Subject: John Sanchez
Industry: Executive Headshot
I met John in 2016 just after moving to NYC. John needed some updated headshots and candids for a forthcoming website. He already had a fantastic designer on the project that was able to direct the vision for the mood and texture of these shots.
Role: DP / Director
I met Hanna on Myspace (yes, Myspace) a long time ago. It took us years to meet, and even longer to finally make something together.
We shot this video in two days with around a total shoot time of 5 hours. No crew, just two of us running around Chicago 'stealing' locations.
I guess I 'directed' this–but Hanna really just delivered every time I hit record.
Proud of this piece.
In 2014 I produced this album for Jane Decker - along with directing her music videos and album art for this release.
Role: Key Grip / 1st AC / Voiceover Talent
Industry: Car Rental
Role: DP / Editor / Colorist
Role: DP / Lead Editor
Industry: Corporate / SaaS
Role: DP / Editor / Colorist
In 2015 I directed and shot a music video for Jane Decker, former Voice contestant. We had a 72 hour turnaround for the video to premiere on Yahoo! Music. Some of the quickest work I've done, but also some of the proudest work I've touched.
Role: Creative Director / DP / Editor / Designer
Industry: Commercial Video / Brand Building
I remember getting the e-mail from Nick about an idea him and his friend, Michael had about “reinventing” the ice cream truck. They came to me asking about doing a video for a kickstarter, but the real “kicker” was they didn’t even have a name for this idea yet.
I was lucky enough to be able to not just produce their kickstarter video and social content–but to actually build this brand from the ground up with them; hand in hand.
After the past couple years of navigating issues with my health, I started realizing the weight of doing ‘great’ work. I started looking at every project and asking, “If I died tomorrow, would I be proud of what I made today?”– this is one of those projects that I took on, happily knowing it would be (and now IS) great.
Special thanks: Alfie, Justin, Austin, Taylor, Sam, Nate, and Daniel.
Year: 2014 - Present
Role: COO / Founder
Industry: Content Creation
Following layoffs, I started my own content agency so that I didn't have to stop creating beautiful things with people I loved. We went on to create content for some of the largest brands and some of the smallest brands. My goal was to partner creatives with the people that knew their brand and industry the best. Our idea is to unify your brands goals with your story and broadcast that beautifully.
