I met Hanna on Myspace (yes, Myspace) a long time ago. It took us years to meet, and even longer to finally make something together.
We shot this video in two days with around a total shoot time of 5 hours. No crew, just two of us running around Chicago 'stealing' locations.
I guess I 'directed' this–but Hanna really just delivered every time I hit record.

I remember getting the e-mail from Nick about an idea him and his friend, Michael had about “reinventing” the ice cream truck. They came to me asking about doing a video for a kickstarter, but the real “kicker” was they didn’t even have a name for this idea yet.
I was lucky enough to be able to not just produce their kickstarter video and social content–but to actually build this brand from the ground up with them; hand in hand.
After the past couple years of navigating issues with my health, I started realizing the weight of doing ‘great’ work. I started looking at every project and asking, “If I died tomorrow, would I be proud of what I made today?”– this is one of those projects that I took on, happily knowing it would be (and now IS) great.

In 2015 I directed and shot a music video for Jane Decker, former Voice contestant. We had a 72 hour turnaround for the video to premiere on Yahoo! Music. Some of the quickest work I've done, but also some of the proudest work I've touched.

I met John in 2016 just after moving to NYC. John needed some updated headshots and candids for a forthcoming website. He already had a fantastic designer on the project that was able to direct the vision for the mood and texture of these shots.

Following layoffs, I started my own content agency so that I didn't have to stop creating beautiful things with people I loved. We went on to create content for some of the largest brands and some of the smallest brands. My goal was to partner creatives with the people that knew their brand and industry the best. Our idea is to unify your brands goals with your story and broadcast that beautifully.

In 2014 I started hashtagging my photos of my most common drink, a cortado. This hashtag has generated over thousands of unique impressions for my personal instagram along with the coffeeshops that are geotagged by the social network.
